Days turn to Weeks, and Weeks turn to Months, and as I bear weight for the first time on my Broken Leg, I realize that all that was there is gone. The strength I had is lost. My foundation of stability has been shattered. The muscles that give me the ability to walk, the ability of mobility, have left the building, lying in a bed of Immobility. I am bearing the burden of the Broken.
Living Broken breads Barrenness. Living Broken breads Brokenness.
Living Broken breads Breathlessness. Living Broken breads Restlessness.
Everyone bearing the weight of my Burden, bearing the weight of my Brokenness, bearing the weight of me, unable to bear my own weight, is weighing heavily as a Burden. Bearing the Burden of the Broken, Is weighing Heavily as a Burden, on those who are bearing the weight, I cannot bear on my own, I cannot bear alone.
It becomes Unbearable. It becomes a Burden. I become a Burden.
The weight I bear on this Broken leg is unbearable. Bearing the weight to Walk is unbearable. But bearing the weight, is the only way to Build. Bearing the weight is the only way to build Bone, to build Muscle, to build Strength. Bearing the burden of the Broken, is the only way to Build the Body.
Bearing the burden of the Broken, is the only way to Build the Body of Christ.
