BLOG December 7, 2023 Luke 1:72, 77-79 Luke 2:6-7 Luke 2:8-14 Luke 2:15-19 Revelation 21:5-7 I am washed away in Your presence Swallowed up by Your amazing Reckless Love Waves of Glory pouring from Your Throne room Boundless waves of the depths of Your Love I am captured by a taste of Your Glory As I worship my Holy, Heavenly King Pressing into the weight of Your Beauty Lifting the praises of my heart as I sing Behold the Lamb of God upon the Altar Glorified as a priceless offering Born a precious baby in a manger A gift of Life to take my sin and suffering This Holy wholly human sent as Savior Given to mankind with Reckless Love Not bound by Heaven’s endless boundaries But abandoning the breathlessness above Behold the King of Glory among the Living Breathing His first breath in Human lungs The virgin Mary brought forth a miracle! The Messiah. The Holy child. The begotten Son. The promise of Your Holy covenant Fulfilled by a babe in swaddling cloths The Glory of Heaven upon the earth now To bring hope to all Mankind. God with us. The knowledge of Salvation to Your people By the remission of their sin for all the Lost To give Light to those who sit in darkness A Prince of Peace announced by Your Heavenly host Creation shall bow before Your righteousness “Glory to God in the highest,” the Angels sing “Peace on earth, goodwill toward men! In the City of David Is born a Savior who is Jesus Christ our King” Behold in Bethlehem is born the King of Kings! Your Reckless Love has conquered Death upon a cross The Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End You give of the fountain of water of Life to Him who thirsts “He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” “Write, for these words are true and faithful. It is done! For He who overcomes will inherit all things and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” I am washed away in Your presence Swallowed up by Your amazing Reckless Love Waves of Glory pouring from Your Throne room Boundless waves of the depths of Your Love
