THE BROKENNESS: Our Emotional, Physical & Spiritual CONDITION

Embittered.

There was a time when I was a Dreamer
A naive and young Christian girl
I thought that I’d make a difference
Leave a mark for God on this World

I thought that the man I would marry
Would share those same goals with me
And we’d serve our God together
And we’d live life happily

Like lightbulbs those Dreams have all shattered
All my Hopes for my future are dashed
The one I gave my whole Heart to
Held all of my Dreams and then crashed

Cinderella is only a fable
And my pipe dreams were high in the sky
For all I’d imagined for my life
Were all one of Satan’s big Lies

Reality is all we can count on
And the Truth that we live will surprise
We can Hope for a change in our omen
But the Dreams that we live are just Lies

Hopes that are dashed leave us hardened
And Despair unattended will maim 
A heart that is Crushed many times
Has only its’ owner to blame

For Satan can come in among you 
And settle right there in your midst
And no one will recognize Demons
When Strife replaces God’s bliss

And Heaven and all of her Angels
Will watch as a Lifetime goes by
As two married people are wasted
Because of an evil named “PRIDE”

THE BROKENNESS - Our Emotional, Physical & Spiritual CONDITION

	We have been Living, Breathing, and Believing The Brokenness. We have listened to the Lies of the Lost. We have listened to the Lies we tell ourselves over, and over, again in our thoughts. 

	We have given them Power in our Minds. We have been Believing their words, over The Word of God. The words of the Rejection. The words of the Abuser. The words of the Unloving. The words of the Accuser. The words of the Jealous. The words of the Hater. The words of a parent. 

	We have been believing the words, the Curses, the Death that was spoken to us, and over us, and yet now, they are our own Words. We have become exactly what the Voice of Condemnation said. We have become exactly what the Voice of Accusation said. We have become exactly what the Voice of Rejection said. Self Fulfilling Prophecy.

	We have believed these LIES in our Hearts, and we have lived by them. And we have Become what we have Believed in our Hearts. How could we not? They are the words we heard then. They are the words we hear now. They are the words we speak. They are the words we Become. The words of our Spiritual Enemy now become our New Identity.

	We believe The Brokenness. We have become the Bitterness we have Believed. Now, we have become the thing we have Hated, and so now, we Hate ourselves in our hearts. We condemn ourselves with Curses.
 
	Can’t you hear the Voice? Can’t you hear the voice of Depression that says over and over, “But I’m so Sad”? “But I’m so Sad”? Or the voice that says, “I’m too Old”  or “I’m too Ugly?” “I’m too Fat” or “I’m too Thin”? Every time you see your reflection you hear a voice of Rejection.
 
	Our Spiritual Enemy tempts us with thoughts, and with Impressions, or feelings, which are Vain Imaginations. We THINK they are our own thoughts, our own feelings, because they are immediate. Yet, they are deceptions we have Believed, which have bound us IN our Brokenness, bound us TO our Brokenness. The bondage of our Brokenness is a Spiritual Battle.

	We have no idea of the Power of The Deception, nor of the Power of the hold it has on us. We have no idea the Authority we are giving the Enemy, every time we believe his deception as Truth. We have lost our way, because we have not known our way. We have not understood that we are opening doors to a Path of Destruction for ourselves.

UNDERSTANDING TEMPTATION - THE SEVEN STEPS TO SIN

        This will free you up in your Heart. So many of us, live in constant Guilt, and Self-Condemnation, because we have these Ungodly thoughts bombarding us in our Minds, from our Spiritual  Enemy. We think it is us, and we feel Ashamed.
 
	These Thoughts are not your own. We live in this place of Confusion, and inner turmoil, because we have not understood Temptation, or Sin, and we haven’t known when we have stepped into Sin. There are seven steps to Sin.


	1.	TEMPTATION: Always comes to us in the form of thoughts. No matter what the sin is it starts as a part of your thinking process. Temptation is the thought of evil. Temptation is not sin. You do not have to sin just because you feel like doing it.

	2.	BEING DRAWN AWAY: Becoming preoccupied with a thought. Is to have a strong imagination about a temptation. To start to view it and to let your mind be drawn to it. At this stage sin is starting to form a reality in you. It is not just an idle thought; it is starting to take form.

	3.	PERSONAL LUST: The third step is the forming of the sin. “When he is drawn away by his own lust…James 1:14. You have a strong imagination and you begin to take pleasure in watching what is in your mind and in your thoughts. This is still not sin. It is an evil spirit starting to integrate itself with you and you are beginning to fall into agreement simply because you are entertaining the thoughts. The evil spirit is like a projector, projecting images in you because of its nature and it wants to fulfill its nature and make you a sinner in that area. You think it is you because you have fallen into agreement and started becoming one with it, which is the process of you becoming prepared to sin. 

	4.	ENTICEMENT: Enticement is the weakening of the will. You can have every feeling and seemingly enjoyment of a lustful thought in any area of your life. The object is to weaken your will because Satan wants you to act it out. The strategy is to get you to yield your will to what the temptation is. If Satan can break down your will so you are no longer resisting him, he has you in motion to commit a sin. “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

	5.	LUST CONCEIVED: This is the time of yielding your will and coming into agreement with it so it can be birthed within you. Lust conceived is the entrance into the Physical of what is Spiritual. At this stage it is difficult not to sin because your total will has yielded to what that temptation represents.

	6.	ACTUAL SIN: The Actual sin is becoming one with the thought coming into full agreement with it and acting on it. You may say something with your heart, but not with your mouth. You still have completed sin in your heart because you are one with it and in full agreement with it. 

	7.	THE CONSEQUENCES OF SIN: The result of sin is death. Sin not repented for brings Spiritual Death. “and sin when it is finished bringeth forth death.” James 1:15b. It also opens the door for sin to rule you, to reign, and destroy you and have dominion over you. Unless it is repented for, dealt with and cast out it will be continually there to tempt you.

FREEDOM & FORGIVENESS through SEPARATION

         If we can begin to see ALL EVIL as our Spiritual Enemy, we can begin to fight and WIN this Battle waged against us, in our Minds, and in our Lives. We can begin to live in the Victory God has provided for us, and has meant for us all, as His Beautiful Believers to live in. We can begin to walk in Freedom.

	With Knowledge comes Understanding. With Understanding comes the ability to walk in Freedom, and in Forgiveness. If we know, we can separate the Lies of the Enemy, from The Truth, we can separate EVIL from GOOD. We can separate the SIN from the SINNER. We can stop Blaming and Condemning ourselves, living in Guilt, and in Shame, and in BONDAGE to the Lies we have Believed. 

	Our Battle is not with Ourselves. Our Battle is not with our Parent, our Partner, or our Child. Our Battle is with a very real Spiritual Enemy who is tempting you to Blame and to Hate, tempting you to Condemn from your Heart, tempting you to think you are the Guilty one, Unworthy of God’s Love. This is not the Truth. Don’t Believe it. You are THE BEAUTIFUL ONE. Believe the Beautiful!


Flesh vs. Spirit

My insides 
are in turmoil
Sick about who I am
Sick about who I am not
The Battle within is raging
God says 
He is the Winner
But sin 
is winning
in me
I cannot 
withstand 
the failures
yet will never 
reach perfection
Who I am to be 
I cannot be
The willingness
the desire
are crushed beneath
the inability
Not I but Christ 
the pages say
My weakness 
Somehow hides His strength
Struggling endlessly
Life has ceased
For always in war there is Death



Healing For Brokenness

Who has stayed the Father’s hand? Who can try the Master’s plan? 
Who has crushed this daughter still? Who can move the Father’s will?
 
Lost, without a Battle plan. Dropped the sword out of my hand.
Kingdom Voice is trapped within. Who will listen to me again?

Tried too many times in grief. Never finding real relief.
I have lost the Key this time. Too great a mount to ever climb.

Father, lift me from this place. Too many years of Hell’s disgrace.
Another year is at the Day. The day You let Brokenness come my way.

My heart of Hope, is lost in pain. Another year has had its’ end.
How could you let this come again? A daughter’s worth crushed in Your hand?

Body weak from lack of strength. Fighting pain a year in length.
Frail from lying weeks in bed. Muscles atrophied instead.

I can barely speak today. I can barely bow and pray.
I can barely wait on You. Father, this alone is true.

Recklessness is not my past. My heart is always open glass. 
Fragile, to the point of pain. Bearing Brokenness, again.

How am I to understand? Why You allowed this destruction?
I give my life, my all to You. A Heart of worship, Gold and glued.

Three times suffered, in this place. Given Mercy, Life, and Grace.
How is it, I am almost lame? Hallowed, sunken legs, and frame?

I have no strength, to rise again. I have no words of Hope, for them.
Given over to the Destroyer’s abuse. Body beaten, Broken, and bruised.

Reliving Job, in suffering, Allowed destruction, sent from a King. 
Father, Father, can’t you see? I am on Broken, bended knee?

Give me grace, to walk this road. Help me to lift, and carry this load.
I have nothing to offer, no prize has been won. Nothing to give to Jesus, Your Son.

Lost on the way, to Hopelessness. Waiting for Healing, that’s Heaven sent.
Beauty for Ashes, to give me relief. Healing for Brokenness, is what I need.

For I am poor and needy, And my heart is wounded within me. I am gone like a shadow when it lengthens; I am shaken off like a locust. My knees are weak through fasting, And my flesh is feeble from lack of fatness. I also have become a reproach to them; When they look at me, they shake their heads. Help me, O LORD my God!
