Isaiah 1:7-9 New Kings James Version
7 Your country is desolate,
Your cities are burned with fire;
Strangers devour your land in your presence;
And it is desolate,
as overthrown by strangers.
8 So the daughter of Zion is left as a [a]booth in a vineyard,
As a hut in a garden of cucumbers,
As a besieged city.
9 Unless the Lord of hosts
Had left to us a very small remnant,
We would have become like Sodom,
We would have been made like Gomorrah.
Putting Out Fires.
Tragedy upon Tragedy
Bursting into flames
Losing lives so desperately
Following the fires of L.A.
Collision in mid-air
Crashing into the deep
Bringing hopeless despair
Freezing waters too bleak
Families follow in heartbreak
Seeking to save a loved one
Rescuing wreckage from water
Nothing left could be done
Too many children among them
67 losing their lives
Placing their faith in a system
Compromising their hope to survive
Accidents of epic proportion
Dropping out of the skies
Failing without any warning
Bursting to flames as it flies
Life threatening Disease is treated
Saving the life of a child
Making a way home to Mexico
Believing the flight will arrive
Fire is falling at nighttime
Lighting the sky with its’ blast
Flaming debris flying everywhere
Destroying all things in its’ path
Our Country is desolate
Burning our cities with fires
Overthrowing our land by strangers
Overcrowding where no Border lies
Strangers devour our land in our presence
Fighting the truth of our Homeland
Starting fires and burning flags
Desecrating the rights of common Man
The Lord of Hosts has raised a remnant
Putting out fires and shining His light
Believing in the hope of America again
Revealing the Truth to make things right
