Remembering the Miracle!

Instead of being shrouded in a dark cloud, remembering the Day, and time of Breaking the femur of my right leg, God has given me something else to Behold. 

Something else to hold, even in the cold. New Life. New Beginnings. Demanding my focus to be completely occupied with something greater than myself. A New Beginning. Saving the life of something else. 

Two years ago, January 15 was a painful day. January 16, when I had the rod and pin implant placed in my leg, is a painful place to be, even in my memory. Painful to go there again. Even in the The Day, Times, and Seasons of Healing Brokenness and Recovering Beauty after. 

I am remembering the Miracle! I am walking, and leaping, and praising God! No cane! Praise God! I have most of my flexibility recovered. I am still recovering my strength. Glory to God! 

I have been so occupied with saving the lives of God’s creation, this warm fuzzy little calf, that I haven’t been able to even mention my Miracle, but this is a Miracle. This little life is a miracle. 

My life is a Miracle! I am so thankful to be alive. To be here. To be healed. To be beyond the pain of the experience. I am so grateful to be breathing, moving, growing, building, and living Life. 

We all have times when we are totally helpless. Living day by day. Freezing in the cold. But God is there. Even in those painful places of Brokenness. He is breathing His LIFE into our hearts, into our lives, into our hopes for our future. Holding us. Rescuing us. God with us.
