It’s easy when life is easy To be thankful for all You have done Praising You is simple when life is a day in the sun But when those clouds come rolling in And sunny skies turn gray Help me Lord to Thank You anyway I want to be Thankful today Even when things aren’t going my way Help me to see All You have done for me I want to be Thankful today Knowing Your love can’t be taken away Even in adversity You still love me It’s easy for me to get busy And forget to be thankful to You When my days are filled with stress From all the things I have to do I focus on the challenges And let worries get in the way Help me Lord to stop, and start to pray I want to be Thankful today Even when things aren’t going my way Help me to see All You have done for me I want to be Thankful today Knowing Your love can’t be taken away Even in adversity You still love me If the challenges of life leave me with nothing left And all my extra comfort slips away I want to be secure enough in You that I can say Thank You Lord for loving me Today.
