Wasting Away. 2/25/25

After the MIRACLE! BLOG

Finally fighting my frailty
Losing legs’ muscles and strength
Nowhere to build up my balance
Threatened to topple at length

Three years of Miracles gleaning
Bones healed with no relief
Strength is all gone in the stealing
Wasting away as the weak

Living with loss after Life
Grieving what’s left to be seen
Too many days feeling let down
Sitting still burning my seat

Running my race without running
Feeling as though I’m behind
Broken Femur has cost me
The Victory is yet to be mine

My heart is still crushed in this crushing
It’s hard to worship in tears
Building this body of weakness
Stealing my hope through the years

Father of Faith fight my frailty
Give me the courage to run
Rescue me out of my Brokenness
I lay down my Life till its’ done
